This travel - temporary assignment places an LPN in a skilled nursing environment to provide direct resident care under the supervision of a registered nurse and the facility medical team.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, individualized patient care to residents according to the plan of care and facility policies.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments; document responses and any adverse events.
- Monitor vital signs, intake/output, weight changes, and overall health status; escalate changes per protocol.
- Collaborate with licensed nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team; participate in handoffs and care planning meetings.
- Maintain safe, clean, and therapeutic environments; assist with activities of daily living as needed; promote resident mobility and dignity.
- Document thoroughly in the electronic health record; ensure privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Active LPN license (state licensure requirements apply; Maine licensure or eligibility for practice in Maine)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and meet guaranteed hours
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; proficient documentation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience in or knowledge of long-term care or skilled nursing settings is preferred
