Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency care to adult and mixed-population patients, including triage, rapid assessment, monitoring, and patient stabilization
- Initiate IV access, administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with diagnostic testing and procedures
- Document care consistently and accurately in EPIC electronic medical record; communicate clearly with physicians, specialists, and team members
- Monitor and reassess patients, respond to deteriorating conditions, and participate in de-escalation strategies when needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and timely disposition; support patient and family education
- Maintain flexibility to meet unit needs, including scheduling adjustments and staffing requirements; comply with unit expectations for weekend coverage

Requirements
- Licensure: Active RN license (state requirements apply for VT or multi-state eligibility)
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, TNCC required; TNCC must be documented prior to start; NIHSS required prior to start
- Experience: Minimum 2 years ER experience; prior travel experience preferred; large, teaching facility experience strongly preferred
- Education: Current licensure as a registered nurse; EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Other: Ability to work in a rotating day/night ED environment with flexibility; no float required to other areas
