Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
- Position patients correctly and select appropriate imaging views; adjust exposure factors to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation dose.
- Operate radiology equipment, perform quality checks, and document procedures in the patient record.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, verify identity and consent, protect privacy, and adhere to ALARA principles.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely imaging and accurate reporting; assist with procedures as needed.
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification (Radiography)
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiologic Tech or related radiology specialty
- Availability to work a night shift and travel assignment; must comply with assignment location restrictions (no local candidates within 50 miles)
