Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Washington Court House, Ohio. Start date 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Weekly pay range $2,211-$2,342. Shift: three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with every third weekend and one holiday. Setting: emergency department within a hospital environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care in the ER, performing assessment, triage, treatment, and ongoing evaluation of patient plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and procedures per physician orders; respond promptly to rapid changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, techs, and family members to develop, implement, and reassess individualized care plans.
- Document care activities, patient responses, and treatment plans in the EPIC electronic health record; ensure accuracy and timeliness of charting.
- Monitor patient safety, manage pain and discomfort, and support discharge planning with clear patient and family education.
- Maintain professional standards under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and with indirect oversight from the Director of Nursing; participate in shift handoffs and cross-team communication.
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license.
- Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience, including work in a critical access setting; experience with EPIC EHR preferred.
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIHSSEKG course, and Code Violet (CPI) training required within 6 months of hire.
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the assignment location.
- Ability to work a 3x12-hour day shift schedule, including every third weekend and one holiday.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-acuity ER environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
