Travel Radiology X-Ray Tech Job
Radiology X-Ray Tech travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 06/15/2026 for an 8-week engagement. Weekly pay range $1,625–$1,720 per week, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is 8-hour days, Monday through Friday. Work setting is a hospital environment where X-ray imaging occurs in ED, inpatient, portable, and OR settings.

Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic and fluoroscopic examinations across ED, inpatient units, portable imaging, and operating room as assigned.
- Operate radiologic equipment and ensure fluoroscopic imaging quality; evaluate technical quality of images and adjust positioning as needed.
- Document and process imaging studies in EMR systems, specifically EPIC and Sectra; communicate results to the clinical team.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control; ensure proper shielding, radiation safety practices, and mask fit as required.
- Float to different radiology areas as needed and provide competency check-offs for students; participate in on-the-job education and training.
- Manage a fast-paced environment with trauma imaging requirements, including pediatric and neonatal imaging as part of learning and performance.
Requirements
- ARRT certification with active registration
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT-approved radiologic technology program
- Experience: minimum 1 year of level 1 trauma experience or 2–3 years at a large trauma level 2 facility
- Ability to operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment and to work with ED, inpatient, portable, and OR imaging
- Proficiency with EPIC and Sectra EMR systems
- Willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging and to float between departments as needed
