Travel Radiology CT Tech Job
CT Technologist – Radiology, Travel Assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date May 18, 2026 for a 13-week engagement at a hospital-based imaging department. Weekly pay range: $2,660–$2,829 per week. Shift is 10 hours per day. This on-site travel assignment includes Monday–Friday scheduling with a 3:00 PM–11:30 PM shift, along with on-call/callback duties, holidays, and occasional weekends. Guaranteed hours are not provided.

Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to scanning; adhere to department safety policies
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic CT imaging and ensure accurate patient positioning
- Prepare patients for CT scans, explain procedures, and address patient comfort and safety
- Establish IV access and administer contrast as ordered when required
- Position patients and perform safe patient handling, including assistance for those with limited mobility
- Document all exam components in the electronic health record (EPIC) and ensure images are correctly routed to PACS
- Maintain a clean, safe scanning environment and operate CT equipment per vendor guidelines
Requirements
- NYS licensure as a Radiologic Technologist; licensure must be active before starting
- Completion of formal training from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Injection therapy certification must be stated on the NYS license at the time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of CT imaging experience; Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry experience and injection certification are preferred; knowledge of Philips and Siemens CT equipment preferred
