Responsibilities
- Manage ventilator support and weaning for patients, including ABG sampling and respiratory assessments
- Provide tracheostomy care and ventilation management; perform pulmonary hygiene and suctioning (oral/nasal/ETT) as needed
- Administer prescribed respiratory medications; monitor patient status and respond to deterioration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response, Transport, Unit Secretary) to coordinate care
- Float between long-term care and acute care units as required and adapt to changing patient needs
- Operate on-capability devices (e.g., Hamilton Vent, Servo-U, NKV330, V60) and document findings in EPIC

Requirements
- Current NY state license in hand to submit
- Certifications: BLS; RRT credential
- Minimum clinical experience: 1 year
- Core skills: Ventilator management and weaning; ABG sampling; pulmonary hygiene; suctioning; patient assessment
- EPIC charting experience is mandatory
- Ability to work in a 120-bed setting and float between LTC and acute care units
- Geographic: Candidates within 75 miles of the work location will not be considered
- Return-to-work policy: Cannot submit candidates with more than 10 days of time off (RTO)
- Orientation: 36 hours prior to start
