Weekly pay: $2,202–$2,297 per week

- Orientation and onboarding: 24 hours of orientation plus Healthstream modules due before start
- Unit profile: Adult ICU with typical 1:2–3 patient ratio (nights may be 1:2)
- Location: Saratoga Springs, NY
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality ICU nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, including those requiring ventilatory support
- Monitor patients, interpret vitals and dysrhythmias, initiate and adjust interventions per unit protocols
- Manage IV medications, insulin protocols, blood products, and care for central lines or PICCs
- Operate and troubleshoot critical care equipment (Servo/Hamilton ventilators, HFNC) and coordinate with Respiratory Therapy and supportive services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (PT, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response, Unit Secretary, Transportation, Interpretation services) to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Document in Epic; complete required rhythm competency testing and Relias EKG exam within required timelines; complete Healthstream modules by the established deadline
Requirements
- Active NY RN license in hand; recent Nursys verification requested
- Minimum 3 years of current ICU experience (adult/geriatric) with ventilated patient exposure
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; flu vaccine or documented exemption required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Epic charting experience; Relias EKG exam within 72 hours of signing; high rhythm competency with proctored testing
- Ability to float within the approved skill set as directed by management; self-scheduling; weekend coverage as needed
- Note: Permanent address within 50 miles of the site is generally not accepted
