Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, including routine nursing procedures and medication administration.
- Monitor resident status, document vital signs and routine assessments, and report changes to the supervising RN.
- Assist with implementing and updating individualized care plans and physician orders; perform standard nursing tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in charts and electronic records; participate in shift handoffs and interdisciplinary rounds.
- Work night shifts with a focus on safety, comfort, and quality of care; respond to call bells and emergencies as they arise.
- Must have PCC experience and support a collaborative, resident-centered care approach.
Requirements
- Must have PCC experience.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
- Availability to work some holidays.
- Night shift availability: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
- This is a travel - temporary assignment.
