Interventional Radiology Technologist (Cath Lab) – Radiology Tech specialty in Olympia, Washington. Travel assignment starting 07/06/2026 for weeks, at a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $2,770-$2,872 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 4x10-hour days (0700–1730). Role supports interventional radiology procedures in a large acute care environment with vascular surgeons and IR physicians.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the IR/Cath Lab for procedures and assist with angiograms, angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, venous access, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, and biopsies; maintain sterile technique throughout.
- Operate imaging equipment in the IR suite (including Philips biplane and GE hybrid room) and C-arm; review and archive images in PACS.
- Assist physicians with endovascular interventions, ensure patient positioning, monitoring, and safety during procedures.
- Manage sterile field, scrub in as needed, and support intra-procedural equipment and supplies.
- Document procedures accurately in the charting system (EPIC) and communicate intra-team updates to avoid delays.
- Collaborate with vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists; participate in rapid problem-solving and patient care coordination.
Requirements
- Active Washington state license as Radiologic Technologist and ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab experience; first-timers accepted
- Pending license not accepted
- Preferred: IR/CV certification
- Outpatient IR experience required; OR/ER/Adult ICU experience preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC charting; ability to scrub and maintain sterile field in a fast-paced IR setting
- Must be able to work in the described IR/cath lab environment and adhere to safety and infection control standards
- Local travel restriction note: local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles are ineligible for travel contracts
