Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures under fluoroscopic guidance, including neuro and light body cases, while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety
- Assist radiologists during procedures, scrub, monitor patient status, and manage equipment and supplies
- Operate imaging equipment and document procedural details, ensuring accurate case notes and post-procedure care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a four-room IR unit with a typical daily caseload of multiple neuro and IR cases
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols, documentation standards, and unit policies; participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
- May float to other IR areas as needed to support patient care and department workflow
Requirements
- ARRT Radiography certification (in-hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (can apply once offered)
- Minimum 2 years of IR experience with scrub experience required
- 3 years IR experience preferred; experience in large hospital settings with peripheral and neurovascular cases strongly favored
- Ability to work the 4x10-hour shift schedule Mon–Fri and participate in on-call coverage; capable of performing in a hospital environment
- Willingness to travel and work at a health-system site in Kansas City, KS
