Interventional Radiology Tech travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. Start date 04/26/2026 for 13 weeks. 4x10-hour day shifts (Mon–Fri). Weekly pay range $2,699–$2,866. Work setting is a hospital interventional radiology suite focusing on neurovascular and light-body cases, utilizing Siemens Artis single-plane imaging systems. Responsibilities
- Assist in interventional radiology procedures, performing scrubbing duties, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting neurovascular and light-body cases
- Operate Siemens Artis imaging systems (Artis icono, Artis Q, Artis zee) in single-plane mode; manage equipment readiness and supplies
- Monitor patient status during procedures, ensure image quality, and enforce radiation safety for patients and staff
- Document procedures, imaging results, and equipment usage; maintain accurate patient records for case flow
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to support efficient, safe workflow
- May perform cross-coverage within IR as needed and participate in on-call shifts (5:00 PM–9:00 PM)
Requirements
- ARRT Radiography certification (in hand)
- Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (can apply after offer)
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience; scrub experience required
- 3 years IR experience preferred, with peripheral and neurovascular exposure
- Ability to work in a hospital IR suite and complete 4x10-hour weekday shifts; on-call availability as required
