Embark on a dynamic journey as a traveling MRI Technologist with our radiology team, delivering high-quality imaging across Portland, Oregon, and beyond. This specialty is your gateway to combining technical mastery with compassionate patient care, as you support physicians in diagnosing a wide range of conditions through advanced MRI protocols. You’ll operate state-of-the-art scanners, optimize sequences for clarity, and help patients feel safe and supported from intake to final images. Beginning 04/06/2026 for a duration defined in weeks, you will join a national network of medical imaging professionals who value precision, efficiency, and collaborative problem-solving. Weekly pay ranges from $2,082 to $2,098, with extension opportunities based on performance and project needs. In this role, every scan is an opportunity to impact outcomes, reduce the need for repeat imaging, and contribute to a smoother patient journey.

Beyond the professional rewards, you’ll find a lifestyle that supports outdoor adventures—hiking the Columbia River Gorge, skiing near Mount Hood, exploring the rugged Oregon Coast, and weekend getaways to crater lakes. This balance between career growth and real-world exploration makes your assignment as an MRI Tech both professionally fulfilling and personally refreshing.
Role specifics and benefits: In this MRI Tech assignment, you will prepare patients and position them for a full range of MRI studies, screen for contraindications, and, where appropriate, administer contrast under established protocols while monitoring safety throughout the exam. Your responsibilities include routine quality control, equipment calibration, and daily checks to minimize downtime and maximize patient throughput. The role offers substantial professional growth through exposure to advanced MRI techniques, including higher-level sequences and applications, with ongoing educational support and opportunities to specialize further. We pair competitive compensation with a sign-on bonus, housing assistance, and extension opportunities for continued collaboration with our teams. A core advantage of this program is the comprehensive support, including 24/7 assistance from a dedicated travel team as you rotate through facilities, adapt to new workflows, and maintain a high standard of care.
