Travel Occupational Therapist Job
Occupational Therapist — Cordova, Alaska — travel assignment beginning May 12, 2026 for 3 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,875–$2,950 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Work setting includes outpatient services, swing bed, and acute inpatient care in a small, critical access setting. Assignment type: Travel - Temporary.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing occupational therapy evaluations for outpatient, swing bed, and acute inpatient populations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, motor function, and upper-extremity skills
- Reassess progress regularly, adjust goals, and document outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with an interprofessional team to support discharge planning and transition of care
- Document patient care activities and ensure timely, accurate charting and communication with care teams
- Prioritize patient safety and apply evidence-based interventions in a small rural setting
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Alaska state OT license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work in outpatient and inpatient care settings
- Eligibility to travel for temporary assignments
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
