Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse, PCU, Atlanta, GA — Travel (temporary assignment) position starting 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn a weekly pay range of $1,692 to $1,806 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 2x3 Nights in a hospital-based, acute care setting. The role supports a Float Pool across PCU/IMCU floors with a cardiac patient population, using EPIC EMR for documentation.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to PCU/IMCU cardiac patients, including those on STEMI/NSTEMI pathways and chest pain diagnoses.
- Float to all PCU/IMCU floors as needed, maintaining appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios (typical 1:3–4 on cardiac units).
- Administer and monitor cardiac medications and drips (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) per physician orders and protocol.
- Monitor telemetry and hemodynamics, recognize changes in patient status, and escalate promptly.
- Document care in EPIC EMR, communicate with cardiology and multidisciplinary teams, and participate in care planning and rounds.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality-of-care standards; respond to cardiac events and codes per policy.
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar-sized facility, on PCU/IMCU or equivalent cardiac unit
- Demonstrated experience with EPIC EMR
- Ability to float across PCU/IMCU floors and telemetry beds with cardiac populations
- Availability for night shift (2x3 Nights) and telephonic/on-call coverage as needed
