Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding as needed.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and range-of-motion activities as trained.
- Monitor residents’ condition, report changes to the supervising nurse, and document care provided.
- Support care plans and routines, maintain clean and safe environments, and adhere to infection control practices.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team; respond promptly to calls and requests.
Requirements
- Active CNA license in New Mexico.
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain as part of onboarding).
- Availability to work the 18:00–06:00 night shift for a 14-week assignment beginning 04/01/2026.
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable and professional.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and standard pre-employment screenings for travel assignments.
