Registered Nurse – Med Surg in King City, California. This travel assignment starts on 05/11/2026 and runs for 13 weeks in a short-term acute care setting. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for medical-surgical patients, including non-critical pediatric patients as assigned.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and therapies per orders, and document accurately in the Cerner EMR.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans; respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Support discharge planning and patient education, ensuring safety, infection control, and comfort.
- May be required to float to the skilled nursing department and adapt to fluctuating census while maintaining clinical standards.
Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Med-surgical nursing experience; ability to care for non-critical pediatric patients
- Ability to work nights and to float to the skilled nursing department as needed
- Eligibility to work in the United States and in the listed location
