Responsibilities
- Deliver ICU-level nursing care for assigned patients in line with established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across multiple levels; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Assess patient conditions, implement and adjust care plans, and evaluate responses using critical thinking and sound clinical judgment.
- Document patient status, monitor changes, and communicate effectively with the care team and families as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Active RN license appropriate for California.
- ICU or critical care nursing experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in a 3x12 schedule.
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ICU environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
