Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Saint Johnsbury Center, Vermont, United States. Start date: 06/24/2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,853-$1,952 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult patients and occasional pediatric patients in a general Med/Surg unit
- Apply the Nursing Process: conduct assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitor changes in condition
- Administer medications, manage IVs, monitor for adverse reactions, and uphold patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Nursing Supervisor; participate in rounds and care coordination
- Document care in the Meditech electronic health record; ensure accurate, timely, and compliant charting
- Support discharge planning and patient/family education; address holistic needs across physical, psychosocial, and developmental domains
Requirements
- Current Vermont RN license or multi-state RN license
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of acute care experience
- Meditech experience preferred
- Ability to work night shift (7pm–7am) with every-other weekend
- Flu vaccination is required (no exceptions)
