Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions, aligned with department objectives
- Assess patient status, establish goals, and implement therapeutic interventions
- Monitor patient progress, modify plans as needed, and document outcomes accurately
- Participate as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups, contributing to care planning and coordination
- Provide education to patients and families on exercises, safety, and home programs
- Ensure compliance with safety, documentation, and professional standards in all activities
Requirements
- Active California physical therapy license in good standing
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
- Ability to work 40 hours per week (4x10-hour shifts) in a travel assignment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work within an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement PT treatment plans and document patient progress
