Travel Radiology X-Ray Tech Job
Radiology X-Ray Tech travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 04/20/2026 for a 6-week assignment. Weekly pay range $1,656–$1,768 per week with 40 guaranteed hours. Night shifts consist of 10-hour shifts, four nights per week in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Perform general radiographic imaging and fluoroscopy across OR, ED, inpatient units, and portable imaging as needed.
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment; evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper labeling.
- Document procedures and patient data in the EMR (EPIC and Sectra) and coordinate with radiology team for workflow.
- Floats between departments as assigned; adapt to changing priorities while maintaining patient safety and infection control.
- Provide education and support for students, including competency check-offs as part of clinical operations.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA; ensure equipment safety, QC, and quality imaging standards.
Requirements
- ARRT certification and BLS required.
- Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT-approved radiography program.
- Minimum 1 year Level 1 trauma experience or 2–3 years at a large trauma Level 2 facility.
- Experience in OR and general X-ray; able to work OR, ED, inpatient, and portable imaging; willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging.
- Night shift availability and ability to float between departments as needed.
