Travel Registered Nurse Hospice Job
Registered Nurse – Hospice in Grand Junction, Colorado. This travel assignment begins 09/14/2026 and runs for 12 weeks, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. You will work a 5x8-day shift and provide compassionate, patient-centered hospice care in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care with a focus on symptom management, comfort, and quality of life for hospice patients.
- Lead the interdisciplinary care team for assigned patients, coordinating medical, psychosocial, and spiritual support.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor clinical changes, and document care plans and outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about goals of care, treatment options, and ongoing symptom management.
- Collaborate with the care team to implement and adjust plans across care settings, including private homes, nursing facilities, group homes, and assisted living facilities.
- Ensure timely documentation, regulatory compliance, and adherence to hospice guidelines and standards.
Requirements
- Ability to work in an inpatient hospice setting with occasional on-call and weekend rotations.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking in symptom management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patient- and family-centered approach to end-of-life care.
- Demonstrated ability to educate patients and families about care goals and plan of care.
