Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases in the OR
- Scrub and circulate for surgical cases as assigned
- Maintain sterile technique, instrument counts, and proper equipment readiness
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, communicate with the surgical team and anesthesia
- Administer medications per policy and document in the electronic health record (EPIC)
- Support OR workflow for ortho, spine, and robotics procedures; ensure patient safety and smooth handoffs
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications
- EPIC experience
- CNOR preferred
- Strong OR background with emphasis on orthopedics, spine, and robotics
- Must be able to scrub and circulate
- 1 week of orientation provided
- Travel assignment; non-local candidates only
