Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care is sought for a travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to long-term care residents according to care plans and nursing policies.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocol.
- Monitor vital signs, identify changes in patient conditions, and escalate to the RN or physician as needed.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility, promoting comfort and independence.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation, update care plans, and ensure charting complies with regulatory requirements.
- Uphold safety, infection prevention, and fall-prevention protocols; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico.
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program; current NM licensure in good standing.
- Ability to work the 19:00–07:30 night shift and maintain 36 guaranteed hours per week.
- Availability for a 17-week travel assignment.
- Experience in long-term care settings or equivalent preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
