This travel temporary assignment supports patients across the continuum of care in a hospital system, with opportunities to cover across multiple sites within the Mohawk Valley Health System footprint. The role requires licensure and certification compliance and follows local travel guidelines (75-mile radius rule).

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluation and treatment to patients across inpatient hospital, acute rehab, and outpatient clinic settings.
- Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and implement dysphagia management plans; coordinate and/or perform video fluoroscopy swallow studies when needed.
- Develop and adjust individualized therapy plans to support swallowing, communication, cognition, and/or voice goals; monitor progress and modify treatment accordingly.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning, patient education, and care transitions; flex to patient loads and coverage needs.
- Document findings and progress in the medical record in a timely, accurate manner; ensure compliance with privacy and safety standards; participate in quality improvement activities as appropriate.
- Complete required clinical fellowship year (CFY) and maintain current credentialing requirements; participate in weekend rotation as assigned.

Requirements
- NY State license to practice Speech-Language Pathology required
- CCC — Certificate of Clinical Competence required
- Completion of clinical fellowship year required
- BLS — Basic Life Support required
- Inpatient acute hospital experience preferred
- Video fluoroscopy swallow study (VFSS) experience preferred
- Ability to work across inpatient hospital, acute rehab, and outpatient clinic settings
- Evidence of continuing education and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
