Registered Nurse - PCU travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 05/04/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,683-$1,712 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights. Work setting: hospital unit with cardiac patients, including float pool responsibilities across PCU/IMCU and telemetry. Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to adult patients on PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and related presentations.
- Float between PCU/IMCU units and telemetry beds as needed, adapting to patient acuity while maintaining safe care and appropriate documentation.
- Monitor cardiac status, administer and titrate prescribed IV drips and medications (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) per protocol; recognize and respond to hemodynamic changes.
- Perform accurate assessments, implement care plans, and document in EPIC EMR with clear communication to the care team.
- Collaborate with cardiology and multidisciplinary teams; respond to changes in patient condition and escalate per hospital policy.
- Maintain unit standards for patient safety, infection control, and patient education; support care transitions and discharge planning as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active RN license valid to practice in the United States; travel assignment requirements may apply for state licensure.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a similar-sized facility, with cardiac and telemetry exposure preferred.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR or strong EMR experience; ability to document accurately and promptly.
- Ability to float to PCU/IMCU floors and telemetry beds; comfortable with 12-hour night shifts and travel requirements.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills; minimal required time off (RTO) as stated.
