Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nursing care for Cardiac Telemetry and Cardiac Step-Down patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient status; respond to changes per protocol
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing policies
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the cardiology team
- Document care, assessments, and outcomes in the medical record
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe, effective patient care
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Ability to work in a Cardiac Telemetry/Cardiac Step-Down setting
- Prior to start, must hold the specified licenses/certifications
- Preferred: 1 year of cardiac telemetry/cardiac step-down experience
