Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse – Med Surg in Atlanta, GA. Travel assignment begins 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,650 to $1,694 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 2x3 Days. This is a hospital-based Med/Surg assignment caring for adult medical-surgical patients on a dedicated unit.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to Med/Surg patients on a 30-bed unit, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust the plan of care
- Monitor patient status, identify changes, and respond promptly to clinical deterioration
- Ensure patient safety, infection control practices, and accurate charting in the electronic health record
- Provide discharge planning support and patient/family education to promote understanding of care plans
Requirements
- Current, valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or equivalent acute care experience; level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital experience preferred
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment on a 30-bed unit
- No time off requests during the contract period
- Availability to work the assigned shift schedule (2x3 days)
