Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Start date: May 1, 2026. Duration: 14 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,370–$1,493. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: Day shift, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., five days per week. Setting: long-term care (LTC) nursing home. This assignment is a temporary travel position arranged through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents under the plan of care developed with the supervising OT
- Perform routine evaluations, assist with treatment planning, and implement OT interventions
- Facilitate activities of daily living training, therapeutic activities, and adaptive equipment recommendations
- Monitor resident progress, adjust interventions as needed, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
- Ensure safety, infection control, and accurate documentation; participate in care conferences and discharge planning
- Maintain timely electronic documentation and adherence to facility policies
Requirements
- Active NM license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or eligibility for licensure
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and meet assignment schedule
- Willingness to travel for a 14-week assignment
- Strong communication skills and teamwork; ability to collaborate with residents, families, and staff
