Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job
Registered Nurse – Oncology in a hospital setting, located in Cumming, Georgia. Start date: 06/29/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,539 - $1,644 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Oncology/Med-Surg patients, including initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and timely documentation.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, monitor for adverse reactions, manage symptom relief, and support pain control as ordered.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans; monitor labs, treatment responses, and patient progress.
- Respond to changes in patient condition, perform rapid assessments as needed, and escalate concerns promptly following protocol.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication administration, symptom management, discharge planning, and safety considerations.
- Maintain accurate, complete documentation in the electronic medical record; adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in the specialty (Oncology/Med-Surg)
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 2x3 schedule
- Ability to work in a hospital setting in Cumming, GA
- Willingness to travel and participate in a travel assignment as described
