Travel Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for a 13-week, travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting in Utica, NY. Start date: 08/18/2026. Weekly pay: $1,424-$1,466 per week. Shift: 5x8 days. This assignment is in a long-term care unit with 40 beds. Expected weekly hours: 37.5. Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to LTC residents per physician orders and facility protocols
- Administer medications and monitor patient status, reporting changes to the supervising RN
- Perform routine nursing duties including vital signs, wound care, and data collection; document in the EMR (PointClick Care)
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement resident care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, promote safety, dignity, and therapeutic routines
- Respond to call lights, assess changing conditions, and escalate appropriately within the building
Requirements
- Current active NY Licensed Practical Nurse license; Nursys verification with active licensure
- Current BLS certification
- 1+ year of LTC facility experience required
- EMR experience, specifically PointClick Care
- Ability to work in a LTC setting and float within the same building as needed
- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics
- RTO (time off) requests must be included at submission
