Travel – Temporary Assignment
This perioperative nursing role involves delivering patient-centered care for surgical patients and their families in a fast-paced OR setting. The assignment requires collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the OR team to support safe, efficient, and outcome-driven perioperative care.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for surgical patients and families throughout the pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases
- Oversee patient flow in the perioperative area to optimize safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction
- Triage incoming patient needs for services and coordinate with providers and care teams
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures while adhering to patient safety guidelines
- Deliver patient education to facilitate informed care plans and post-discharge needs
- Coordinate care with other physician practices and the broader care team to achieve optimal outcomes
- Demonstrate independent clinical judgment, prioritization, and critical thinking in a dynamic environment
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold principles of a Just Culture and organizational values
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Colorado or another compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Ability to work in a high-volume perioperative/OR setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work with minimal supervision
- Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and professional standards
