Endoscopy Tech with GI lab experience needed for a travel assignment in Los Angeles, California. This position begins on 07/20/2026 and runs for 13 weeks in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Work in the gastroenterology (GI) lab assisting gastroenterologists with various GI procedures, under the direction of registered nurses
- Prepare and assist with GI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort and maintaining procedural readiness
- Provide care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing GI interventions
- Perform duties with minimal supervision while supporting RN leadership and the procedural team
- Mentor and train staff on technical skills related to endoscopy techniques and GI equipment
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and sterile technique; support efficient turnover of procedures
Requirements
- Experience in or exposure to the GI endoscopy environment preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital GI lab and participate in travel assignment
- Comfort providing care to adult and geriatric patient populations
- Ability to function with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with nurses and physicians
- Flexible to a varied shift schedule and travel requirements
