Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations, including interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce digital images of the heart and vascular system; position and instruct patients and immobilize as needed.
- Assist physicians with specialized interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterization and related studies.
- Manage contrast administration, initiating automatic injection of contrast medium and monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
- Activate fluoroscopy and cinefluorography to provide real-time imaging that guides catheter advancement and treatment decisions.
- Enter technical factors and imaging sequences into the computer, adjust equipment as directed, and adhere to safety protocols throughout procedures.

Requirements
- Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice (California) — Required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification — Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor — Required
- At least two years of recent experience in radiology/interventional field — Required
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional radiology environment within a home healthcare - hospice setting and as a travel assignment
