Registered Nurse, Med Surg – Meeker, Colorado. Travel assignment starting 08/31/2026 for 8 weeks in a hospital-level Med/Surg unit. Weekly pay range: $2,041–$2,118 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Days. This is a travel‑temporary assignment requiring immediate availability and the ability to work in a hospital setting without holiday time off requests.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct bedside care for adult patients in the Med/Surg unit, including ongoing assessment and monitoring.
- Manage vital signs, clinical changes, and routine nursing interventions, with escalation as needed.
- Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders, adhering to policy, safety, and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other team members to develop and update patient care plans; participate in handoffs and discharge planning.
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy of charting and adherence to infection control practices.
- Support patient safety and comfort, manage up to a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, and respond to clinical changes and emergencies per unit policy.

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license
- BLS certification (current active)
- Covid vaccination as required by state mandate
- Med Surg experience with long-term care patient care required
- Willingness to work days and to work holidays as required by unit policy
