This travel RN position focuses on oncology within a medical‑surgical patient care environment. Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs, develop an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the care team, and adjust the plan as conditions change
- Deliver direct nursing care on a med/surg unit with telemetry monitoring, including medication administration and IV therapy
- Monitor patient progress, document findings, and participate in rounds and care coordination with physicians and other team members
- Provide clear patient and family education to support self‑care, discharge planning, and recognition of symptoms that require follow‑up
- Promote a healing environment by ensuring infection prevention, safety, and comfort, while advocating for patient rights and preferences

Requirements
- Current New York State RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
- Experience with telemetry/cardiac monitoring is preferred
- Ability to work a rotating 3x12 shift, including day and night coverage and holidays
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and adapt to a fast‑paced inpatient setting
