Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per orders and facility policies.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, document vital signs, and report changes to the supervising RN.
- Perform routine nursing assessments and provide basic wound care as appropriate.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to implement and update care plans.
Requirements
- Active NC LPN license or compact license.
- BLS certification.
- 1+ year of geriatric LPN experience.
- PCC experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting; availability for 8-hour day shift.
