Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health-care team.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in daily care.
- Document care activities accurately and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to support comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California or eligible to practice in the state
- Experience in oncology or inpatient medical-surgical care preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in a 36-hour work week
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to supervise nursing staff and coordinate multidisciplinary care
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
