Travel Registered Nurse Rehab Job
Registered Nurse - Recovery, Rehab specialty, based in Cumming, Georgia, United States. This travel–temporary assignment starts on 04/20/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,551 to $1,654 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour nights (12x3). Work setting: inpatient rehabilitation/acute care unit within a hospital-type care area. No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on the inpatient rehabilitation/acute care unit, including ongoing assessment and monitoring of neurological and general status.
- Perform neuro checks and monitor responses to therapies; administer medications and treatments as prescribed; document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation therapists (PT/OT/ST), physicians, and care coordination to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
- Assist with activities of daily living, wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and safety/fall prevention measures.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families; ensure timely handoffs and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Prepare patients for discharge or transfer, coordinate with case management, and provide education on follow-up care and therapy plans.
Requirements
- Current Georgia RN license in good standing
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the specialty area; acute care/hospital experience with surgical cases is a plus
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift in an inpatient rehab/acute care setting
- Demonstrated clinical competency in neuro and rehab-related patient care
- Must be able to work within the specified program constraints and location-based requirements (no local candidates within 50 miles)
