Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside RN care to adults on MS/Telemetry, including telemetry monitoring and stroke/CVA care
- Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, manage IV lines (including PICC as applicable), and operate PCA per orders
- Support total joint replacement post-op care and oriented orthopedics/neurology patients throughout the perioperative and recovery phases
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret trends, escalate changes to the medical team, and respond to clinical events promptly
- Implement isolation precautions, maintain infection control standards, and document care in EPIC
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Floating within the MS/Tele service line as needed (not across ICU, SDU, or ED)

Requirements
- Licensure: Active RN license in Missouri or eligible with pending-license acceptance per facility policy
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) and NIHSS
- Experience: 2+ years RN experience preferred; first-timers/new grads accepted
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN credential required
- Skills: Telemetry monitoring, IV start/maintenance, PICC line management, PCA, stroke/CVA care, infection control/isolation precautions; EPIC charting experience preferred
- Other: Ability to work nights on a 3x12 schedule; compliance with facility policies including RTO limits (max 7 days within a 13-week contract) and fit testing where required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed); local candidates not accepted within 75 miles
