Unit volume: approximately 200–300 births per month

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and those with high-risk antepartum needs
- Triage obstetrical patients and coordinate high-risk care plans
- Place and calibrate intrauterine pressure catheters (IUPC)
- Assist, circulate, and recover for cesarean sections; perform sterile vaginal examinations as needed
- Manage central lines (CVC/PICC) and contribute to critical care considerations
- Administer and manage anticoagulation, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate
- Maintain accurate charting in any compliant electronic health record; participate in patient and family education
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based care
Requirements
- Active RN license in Idaho or a compact state at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; labor & delivery/high-risk antepartum experience preferred
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts
- Traveler must reside at least 100 miles from the site
- Onboarding: core items/labs to be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Vaccination status: COVID-19 unknown; Flu vaccine status unknown
