Travel Cath Lab Technologist Job
Cath Lab Technologist in New Lenox, Illinois, starting 04/20/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,640 to $2,826 with no guaranteed hours and 10-hour day shifts (4x10). Work setting is a Short Term Acute Care Hospital cath lab environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist the interventional radiology team in cardiac and interventional radiology procedures, including heart caths and PCI, while monitoring patient status before, during, and after procedures.
- Perform initial patient assessments, participate in consultations, and communicate patient progress to the medical team under supervision.
- Maintain sterile technique, prepare and manage equipment, and assist with imaging guidance as needed.
- Conduct post-procedure care, document findings, and participate in rounds to coordinate patient progress with staff and radiologists.
- Respond to on-call events with timely communication and collaboration with referring physicians, patients, and families.
Requirements
- Illinois: active professional license (verification < 30 days old)
- Certifications: ARRT, BLS, and ACLS active at time of submission
- Experience: minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience; proficient with heart caths, PCI, IABP insertions, STEMI call, IVUS/IFR, and interventional radiology cases
- Vaccination: COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required; no declinations accepted; vaccination status must be noted in submission notes
- RCIS policy: RCIS will not be approved
- Call & references: 30-minute response time for calls; resume with all facilities listed; 2 supervisory references completed within the last year
