Travel Radiology Echo Tech Job
Echo Tech – Radiology role based in Templeton, California, beginning 06/08/2026 for a 13-week travel temporary assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,736 to $1,764 per week. Shift is 3x12-hour day shifts (0600–1830). No guaranteed weekly hours are provided for this assignment.

Responsibilities
- Perform and optimize transthoracic echocardiography studies, ensuring high-quality images and accurate data collection
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, position and monitor as needed to ensure safety and comfort
- Operate echocardiography equipment, adjust imaging parameters, and document findings in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with cardiology and radiology teams to meet study requirements and facilitate timely data transfer to PACS
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot as needed, and support basic quality control and sanitation practices
- Adhere to credentialing standards (RDCS/CCI-RCS), safety protocols, and ongoing education requirements
Requirements
- Certification: currently certified or eligible to be certified with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); RDCS or CCI-RCS required
- Additional credentials: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required; Echocardiography certification preferred
- Experience: minimum 2 years of recent experience in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months
- Education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- RVT: RVT preferred
- Licensure: active credentials as required; ability to work in a fast-paced short-term acute care setting
- Other: must be able to collaborate with clinical teams and follow established protocols for imaging and documentation
