LPN travel assignment in a long-term care (LTC) setting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Start date 03/01/2026 for 5 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week on a 3x12-hour day shift. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting per individualized care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration in the medical record.
- Monitor vital signs, respond to changes in condition, and escalate to the supervising RN as needed.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, and daily hygiene to promote comfort and safety.
- Perform basic nursing assessments, wound care, and dressing changes as ordered; maintain clean, orderly patient environments.
- Document observations, interventions, and outcomes accurately; collaborate with the care team to adjust plans of care.
Requirements
- Current, active LPN license in New Mexico (NM)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a day schedule
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow established care plans and documentation standards
