Travel Surgical Tech Job
Surgical Tech – CVOR/Cath Lab travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Start date: 05/12/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: 2,117 to 2,130 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 4x10 rotating. Setting: surgical services department with CVOR and a Hybrid Cath Lab. This is a travel temporary assignment with a 40-hour guaranteed schedule.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in cardiovascular operating room cases and hybrid cath lab procedures
- Prepare sterile fields, drape patients, and pass instruments to the surgeon and circulator
- Maintain sterile technique, assist with positioning, suction, irrigation, and specimen handling
- Ensure instrument counts are correct and manage equipment readiness throughout cases
- Support clinical team with patient safety, environmental cleanliness, and equipment troubleshooting as needed
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, nursing staff, and anesthesia to facilitate smooth case flow
Requirements
- Active Colorado Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license (DORA) required
- CVOR CST experience is required
- Certification in Surgical Technology from NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT
- Graduation from an accredited scrub technologist program
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)
- Ability to work in a CVOR and hybrid cath lab setting
- Radius rule: traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the assignment facility
