Travel Radiology Echo Tech Job
Registered Echo Technologist (Echo Tech) serving Lancaster, OH. Start date: 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks, with 40 guaranteed hours per week on days in a short-term acute care setting. Weekly pay: $2,349–$2,543 per week.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound studies, including 2-D echo with M-Mode, spectral Doppler, color flow imaging, transesophageal echocardiography as applicable, and stress echocardiography.
- Conduct cardiovascular diagnostic tests such as EKGs, event monitor applications, cardiac monitor applications, pulmonary function tests, lower-extremity Doppler studies, and stress testing; document findings for physician review.
- Record procedure data in patient charts and EMR; promptly inform physicians of life-threatening test results.
- Maintain and disinfect imaging equipment and accessories; assist with supply inventory and related clerical duties; transport patients as needed.
- Participate in departmental CQI activities and monthly cardiovascular meetings; supervise students and precept new staff as assigned.
- Uphold patient-centered care and privacy standards; apply HIPAA requirements, maintain a safe work area, and be prepared to perform CPR as needed.
Requirements
- Education: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Vascular/Echocardiography from an accredited program, or on-the-job training with an allied health degree.
- Licensure/Certification: Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or ARDMS registered cardiac sonographer, or registry-eligible; CPR required.
- Experience: One to two years of echocardiography experience preferred, including 2-D echo with M-Mode, spectral, color Doppler, transesophageal echo, and stress echocardiography.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities; effective communication with patients, families, and medical staff; ability to prioritize and manage time in a busy setting.
- Competencies: Must pass job competencies, including rhythm recognition; ability to work in the listed setting.
