Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, in Zanesville, Ohio, starting May 18, 2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Earn $1,927 to $1,991 per week with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is 3x12-hour days (7:00 am–7:30 pm) with every weekend required and no on-call. The assignment centers on a cardiac/Telemetry-focused Med-Surg unit with occasional float to other Med-Surg areas as needed in a clinical care setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, supervised nursing care to adult Med-Surg patients with cardiac needs and telemetry requirements
- Continuously monitor telemetry, assess patient status, identify and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications and therapies per policy; document in Epic EMR; ensure accurate and timely charting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and discharge planning
- Float to other Med-Surg units as needed; maintain competency and adhere to unit standards and safety protocols
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 3 years of Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience; able to read Telemetry and pass competency on day one
- Epic EMR proficiency required; refresher or 1:1 sit-down trainings are not acceptable
- Education: RN degree from an accredited program (per job notes)
- Ability to work the listed shift schedule and weekend requirements; able to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
