Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered; monitor resident responses and report changes.
- Perform routine clinical assessments and document findings in the chart.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility; provide compassionate bedside care.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to implement and adjust care plans.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; respond to emergencies as needed.
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and team members to coordinate care.
Requirements
- Active LPN or RN license (any state)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Education: graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing setting and participate in a day-shift schedule
