Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients using the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Monitor patient conditions and telemetry data; escalate and respond to changes with professional judgment.
- Administer medications and therapies as ordered; ensure timely and accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and communicate plans with physicians and other care providers.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate tasks per policy and ensure patient safety.
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to prioritize needs and support optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Ability to perform professional nursing duties in a hospital setting.
- Flexibility to work day shifts with a 12-hour schedule totaling 36 hours per week.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with the care team.
- Capacity to supervise and coordinate care among assigned nursing staff.
- Telemetry experience or familiarity with telemetry monitoring is preferred.
