Registered Respiratory Therapist needed for a travel assignment in Cody, Wyoming (Surgery Center). Start date 05/11/2026 for 13 weeks. Night shift (3x12-hour blocks, 7:00 pm–7:30 am). Guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $2,001–$2,065. This travel position is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care across age ranges from birth to geriatric as ordered by physicians.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen devices, Vapotherm, and PAP devices.
- Administer inhaled medications and prescribed gases.
- Perform arterial blood gas analysis and related blood sampling as required.
- Serve as a clinical resource for assessment, treatment planning, and documentation of respiratory care.
- Review patient charts, obtain pertinent history prior to therapies, and ensure orders are correct in the EMR; document assessments, care plans, treatments, procedures, medications, equipment setup, and values as required.
- Conduct night shift duties as required by the department; perform EKGs upon order or request.
- Ensure verbal orders are written per policy and adhere to applicable department policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a respiratory therapist
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
- Ability to work nights and participate in a travel assignment
- Comfortable working in a surgical center environment and using diverse respiratory devices
- Proficient in chart review, patient assessment, and EMR documentation
